FAQs

We always recommend that you pay us a visit and let us show you around the venue, but here are few FAQs answered for you:

Q: What are the food offerings and will we need to pre-order?
A: Seasonal bespoke set menus are created prior to your special day so that on the day, your family and friends can select your chosen favorites...and... If you are passionate about a specific delicacies, we will scour the hills until we find it..!
Q: Can Goldbrick House host every part of the day’s events?
A: Simply ....Yes. We hold ceremonies, champagne receptions, wedding breakfasts and reception parties within the same building, meaning we cater for every part of your day, and also meaning that you don't have to travel the globe for you special day.
Q: Who will be looking after us on the day?
A: From the first telephone call, to when you arrive and until you leave, Goldbrick House’s wedding coordinator will be there guiding the day exactly as you vision it. Our team of professional catering and events staff will tick every single box to ensure every one of your needs is taken care of. Expectations are there to be exceeded, not just met.
Q: How will the rooms be dressed?
A: Florists, cake makers and jewellers make up a large portfolio of affiliated companies that we endorse. You can choose to have rooms dressed as you wish or to stay with our subtle and classy decor. Our team is on hand hours before proceedings to ensure the ‘look’ is perfect.
Q: Can we have entertainment at the reception?
A: We have resident DJ’s or you may have your own. Goldbrick House is accommodating of most live music but must vet any live ensembles to ensure that our neighbours are kept happy! We advise that if any music arrangement is too large, alternative solutions will be suggested.
Q: How many guests can you accommodate?
A: All of our rooms are licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, from an intimate wedding for 10 up to a large wedding of 80 guests for a ceremony and wedding breakfast, and our private rooms can accommodate up to 100 people for a reception party, or up to 400 people in the whole building. Our wedding coordinator can advise you on all aspects of our capacity.
