::Wednesday 10th February :: – An evening of Wine Cocktails with George Wrigley our Award Winning Bar Manager and Great Western Wine. We are set to have a fabulous evening talking and drinking our way through the Lemongrass Collins, Ice Wine Martini and the Port Flip, and see for yourself how the combination of mixing wines with spirits make sensational flavours.

::Wednesday 10th March:: –Sake Tasting – with guest speaker Bruce Perry, who has an enormous knowledge in the spirit industry, including distilling rum in the Caribbean! We will have the pleasure of tasting 6 different Sakes – ranging from elegant and floral flavours, to richer and earthier and liquor styles. Go on.. I dare you to try something different!

::Wednesday 14th April:: – Chocolate & Wine: Following fantastic reports from our local wine slurping followers, the Goldbrick House wine department have teamed up with Frances Cooley from Clifton Cake to host and evening pairing (and guzzling) wines and homemade choccies... Don’t get stuck in the crowds this Christmas! Come and shop in style at our Christmas market with a complimentary glass of bubbly in hand…..
Opening from 5pm until late, our Champagne Bar and Private Rooms will host around 20 different stalls all boasting great gift ideas.
All we ask is a donation of £2.50 or as much as you can afford with all proceeds going to Cancer Research.

Chateaux Rives Blanques Tasting with Dinner (£55 p.p.)
After the popularity of our informal wine tasting evenings, which sold out within days, we thought we would expand the concept to accommodate the whole Goldbrick experience with bubbly on the terrace, fantastic wine, a fabulous dinner and great company.

GOLDBRICK'S WINE CLUB FOR BEGINNERS
Are you someone who knows a bit about wine but wishes
you knew more? Well Goldbrick's wine club could be just the ticket.
In collaboration with top local wine merchant, Great Western Wine, we have structured a series of informal evenings where the emphasis is on learning a bit & having fun. Your host will be the hugely charismatic & enthusiastic Patrick Pigny.

14th January – Whiskey Session
I know it’s not wine but we thought you might be open to a different type of session. Bruce from Eau de Vie will be joining Patrick with a fine selection of Whiskeys to warm your cockles!
11th February – Pink Drinks - the return!
A repeat of last year’s very successful pre-Valentines tasting - All things pink and fruity!
18th March – Valley boys
Focusing on the fabulous wines from the Loire Valley,
One of the foremost wine producing regions in the world.
22nd April – Uruguay
A little known wine producing country that’s starting to make big waves.
14th May – Quinta Do Portal Supper
Join Portugal’s premier wine makers for a supper matching their wonderful wines with Mark Stavrakakis’ youthful and fresh cuisine. Limited tickets are available at £40 for a four-course meal and wine.
27th May – Wine Maker Tasting TBC
Patrick will be joined by………………an as yet unconfirmed but incredibly talented and charismatic winemaker!
17th June – Argie Barbie (Tickets £25)
Toast the sunshine with a gorgeous glass of Argentinean red and a steak hot off the barbeque.
We’ll be setting up camp on the terrace to enjoy all things Argentine. Maradona wigs optional!
Tickets for the wine tasting events are just £10 per person (excluding wine suppers & BBQ’s) & the great news is that if you choose to dine in the restaurant after the event you can redeem your £10 against the cost of your meal when ordering 2 or more courses a la carte.
Space is limited so buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
