Chocolate making masterclass
Indulge your passion for chocolate on one of our unique masterclasses taught by Frances of Clifton cakes.
We’ll take you on a delicious journey through the history of chocolate, tasting premium quality chocolates from the best plantations around the world.
You’ll learn how to make fine Belgian truffles, and take home plenty of your own gift wrapped hand made chocolate creations.

Frances can also be booked for private chocolate events, ideal as a team building exercise or just a bit of fun.

Summer pudding club!!!!
Once again Goldbrick House pays homage to the pudding!
The original pudding club was founded in the 1980s to save the British pudding from extinction. Since then their meetings have been widely covered by the media and have enjoyed outstanding success.
Why not join in and join us for Goldbrick House’s own Pudding club meeting this July 9th and try a selection of six puddings, all of which are British classics or made with a British twist. A glass of bubbly on arrival and a savoury starter are included in the ticket price.
Tickets are £30 per person and can be purchased directly from Goldbrick, in person or over the phone.

Chocolate making
Now a regular event here at Goldbrick House, our chocolate making master classes are a great opportunity to learn all about chocolate from master chocolatier Frances of Clifton cakes.
During the class you will have the chance to make your own chocolates and will go home with armfuls of artisan chocolates beautifully crafted by you.
This is a fun and informal evening held in our cosy Library with a glass of bubbly on arrival.

GOLDBRICK'S WINE CLUB FOR BEGINNERS
7.30pm start
14th May – Oak Valley Supper
You may have already tasted the superb wines of this young but highly acclaimed winery, it’s time to truly appreciate them with a specially prepared supper. Joining Patrick will be Beverly Orrell.
Tickets are strictly limited and a very reasonable £40 for 4 courses and wine.
2nd July – Gosset Champagne Terrace Party
A divine evening sipping Champagne from one of the regions most prestigious houses.
With canapés on the terrace and a fantastic four-course meal in the loft, this is one not to miss!
Tickets are available for £50 and include Champagne, canapés and a four-course meal.
23rd July – Sicilian wines
Some of Italy’s best wines are produced in The Godfather’s back yard. Now getting some great and well-deserved press – Sicily is fresh and funky!
17th September – Viva España!
It’s a night to flamenco to… these wines are just too good to be used in Sangria
8th October – Harewood Estate Supper
Some of the best wines to come out of Australia in many years. Recently awarded 5 red stars by the Australian wine companion. Join Patrick and the Harewood team for supper.
Limited tickets are available at £40 for a four-course meal and wine.
22nd October – Austrian and German wines
Patrick’s promised to wear lederhosen for this one! Austria and Germany produce some of the finest crisp whites, bold reds and world-class sweet wines.
12th November – Movers and Shakers
Acknowledging the new breed of winemakers pushing the industry forward. These guys and girls are young, ambitious and determined to make their mark.
Tickets for the wine tasting events are just £10 per person (excluding wine suppers) & the great news is that if you choose to dine in the restaurant after the event you can redeem your £10 against the cost of your meal.

Pudding Club No.3!
Goldbrick House pays homage to the British Pudding!
The original Pudding club was founded in the 1980’s to save the British pudding from extinction! Since then there meetings have been widely covered by the media and an outstanding success.
So come and join us for Goldbrick House’s own Pudding club meetings and sample 6 different British puddings. Past classics have included Jam Roly Polys and Spotted Dick.
A welcome glass of fizz is included in the price and will be served in our cosy Library before the event.

Easter Egg & chocolate making
Easter egg chocolate master-class – 11th March

Chocolate making
Join professional chocolatier, Frances of Clifton Cakes for a special Valentine's chocolate masterclass.
In the privacy of the Library, with a glass of fizz in hand, you'll learn all about the history and techniques of chocolate making. Later Frances will put you through your paces making a number of different types of confectionary including truffles filled with Champagne ganache.
After a fun evening, you'll being going home with over £50 worth of artisan chocolates made by your own fair hands to surprise your loved ones with!
